T.A.T - Meet Carlee Leifkes and Lucas Unger.
"Marriage is a two-way street, so we both thought we should decide upon it together," Leifkes said. "Plus, what if I were to say no? It's nice to have it all figured out beforehand."
The actual proposal and presentation of the ring was still a surprise. Unger blindfolded Leifkes when they went to pick up the ring on Halloween, and Unger pretended he didn't want to bring the ring to the Halloween party Leifke's family was hosting.
"It was funny because I was upset because I really wanted to show my family the ring at the party, and there I am moping around when Lucas gets down on one knee," Leifkes said. "It was perfect." Leifkes's ring to Unger features the shape of a tooth engraved into platinum along with the lyrics, "Do you really want to hold my dirty hand" from the Black Lips song, "Dirty Hands,"which played at a music festival in Vancouver where the two met for the first time.
